It's a classic American story, one founded on enduring tradition and constant innovation. It began in 1870, when an eager young gunsmith named John M. Marlin put out his sign in New Haven, Connecticut. Armed with nothing but ambition and know-how, he built a company from the ground up by producing firearms that were unmatched in craftsmanship and attention to detail. Through wars and recessions, diversification and growth, the values he instilled have remained the cornerstone of our company. Today, more than 140 years later, Marlin has earned its rightful place in America's proud hunting and shooting tradition. Marlin's historic rimfire and lever action rifles - rifles like the Model 39A, the Model 336, the Model 1894 and the Model 60 - stand side-by-side with today's hard hitting game-changers like the 308 Marlin Express. The story of Marlin is still being written by the generations of sportsmen and firearm enthusiasts who call us their brand.

Description

nimiq/core-rs-albatross is a Rust implementation of the Nimiq Proof-of-Stake protocol based on the Albatross consensus algorithm. Prior to version 1.3.0, two peer-facing consensus request handlers assume that the history index is always available and call blockchain.history_store.history_index().unwrap() directly. That assumption is false by construction. HistoryStoreProxy::history_index() explicitly returns None for the valid HistoryStoreProxy::WithoutIndex state. when a full node is syncing or otherwise running without the history index, a remote peer can send RequestTransactionsProof or RequestTransactionReceiptsByAddress and trigger an Option::unwrap() panic on the request path. This issue has been patched in version 1.3.0.
