The Western Health and Social Care Trust delivers a comprehensive range of services to a population of over 298,200 people across the super council areas of Strabane and Derry City, Fermanagh and Omagh District and a portion of the Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council area. We are guided by our aim and that is to โ€šร„รฒprovide high quality patient and client focused health and social care services through well trained staff with high morale. The Trust employs circa 12,500 staff and has an annual spend of ยฌยฃ588 million to enable the effective delivery of services. The Trust provides services from two acute hospital sites - Altnagelvin Hospital, Londonderry and the South West Acute Hospital, Enniskillen. There is also a non-acute hospital in Omagh, which has an Urgent Care and Treatment Centre. We also deliver many services from community based facilities and directly into the homes of our patients and clients across our wide geographical and rural area. Alongside our commitment to delivering safe, high quality and patient and client focused healthcare services, our Trust has a higher purpose โ€šร„รฌ to improve health and wellbeing and reduce inequalities.
