In pursuit of higher learning the University provides large facilities in terms of teaching faculties, infrastructure and library. The University has 54 departments and offers 65 courses and programmes in diverse disciplines of science, arts, humanities and technology. The University has kept pace with the new developments in the field of education and information revolution and has introduced postgraduate courses in Environmental Sciences, Information Technology, Embedded System and Solutions, Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Psychology and Social Work. The fully computerized library of the University has access to information through VSAT, Radio Link and Campus Networking. The central facility of research in science and technology has been fully upgraded and brought in tune with national and international standards. The faculty and the departments of the University are working on several significant research projects in which a large number of teachers as well as students are engaged. The University has a mechanism of offering consultancy services as well. The University is collaborating in teaching, research and exchange of faculty members and students at the national and international level. We welcome teachers, scholars and students from across the country and all over the globe for short and long term visits, collaborative research and teaching programmes. The University offers appropriate academic and physical ambiance to pursue knowledge and learning.
