Welcome to the company page of “Unione Nazionale Consumatori” (UNC), the oldest consumers' association in Italy, founded by Vincenzo Dona in 1955. Since it was established and for a few years, UNC used to communicate with consumers only by word of mouth. Later, a newspaper called "Le scelte del consumatore" was published. It deals with consumption and consumer issues and it is a very important tool which enables UNC to reach various public, cultural and social organizations and the media. UNC also issues the monthly magazine, supplement to the above mentioned newspaper, which has the same heading, that is regularly forwarded to all members that have properly paid the subscription dues. In addition to these means of communication, known by all people involved in consumerism, UNC has also created the Web site www.consumatori.it, which provides an immediate interaction with all the Internet navigators.
