Rankiteo Explanation :
Attack threatening the organizationโ€™s existence

Description: Stratford University was the target of three ransomware attacks in August 2022 by REvil, Snatch Team, and Avos Locker. Snatch Team and Avos Locker neither had encrypted Stratfordโ€™s files; they exfiltrated and attempted to ransom them. However, on January 15, 2023, Snatch Team dumped more than 50 GB of files from the school on their leak site. The personal information obtained in the August attack reportedly included first and last names, phone numbers, addresses, email addresses, dates of birth, student identification numbers, passport numbers, and Social Security numbers of a total of 78,692 individuals.
