Rankiteo Explanation : Attack with significant impact with customers data leaksDescription: Cyber-security experts have urged the government to quickly strengthen legal safeguards by adding measures to prevent data leaks after the computer systems of two major Thai banks were hacked. The computer systems of Kasikornbank (Kbank) and Krungthai Bank (KTB) were compromised in the attacks It affected the security of the personal and corporate data of more than 120,000 customers. This has raised concern that cyber criminals could subsequently abuse this data, even though bank executives have claimed that there had been no damage so far. The potential damage could be worse than money stolen from bank accounts. The personal data of about 117,000 customers of KTB applying for personal, housing and other loans was hacked, while Kbank stated that the data of about 3,000 corporate customers on its website for online letters was compromised. Hackers used "advanced hacking techniques" to obtain personal data from 20,000 customers who had applied for credit online. The two banks reported the cyber attacks over the weekend. |

What Do We Measure?
Every week, Rankiteo analyzes billions of signals to give organizations a sharper, faster view of emerging risks. With deeper, more actionable intelligence at their fingertips, security teams can outpace threat actors, respond instantly to Zero-Day attacks, and dramatically shrink their risk exposure window.
These are some of the factors we use to calculate the overall score:
Identify exposed access points, detect misconfigured SSL certificates, and uncover vulnerabilities across the network infrastructure.
Gain visibility into the software components used within an organization to detect vulnerabilities, manage risk, and ensure supply chain security.
Monitor and manage all IT assets and their configurations to ensure accurate, real-time visibility across the company's technology environment.
Leverage real-time insights on active threats, malware campaigns, and emerging vulnerabilities to proactively defend against evolving cyberattacks.
