Description: Carphone Warehouse was targeted in a cyberattack which resulted in the personal data breach of millions of its customers. The hackers breached the IT systems of one of its UK divisions and accessed the personal information including names, addresses, date of birth information, and bank details. The credit card data of 90,000 customers were also compromised in the attack. The firm along with the forensic experts investigated the incident and contacted the affected customers by email to inform them about the precautionary steps.
