The first three caused minor disruptions and did not stop more than 2.33 million census forms from being "successfully submitted and safely stored. Australian Privacy Commissioner Timothy Pilgrim launched an investigation into the ABS "cyber attacks" and took the preventive steps of closing down the system to ensure the integrity of the data.
