The entire computer system collapsed: the website, the billing systems, and the orders. The first few days they have been able to serve practically nothing, although in recent days they have been doing what they can. Alliance Healthcare Spain has detected the interruption in the computer system and has immediately started up the appropriate equipment to limit its impact. Although the cyberattack has caused some degree of turmoil in the industry, all the sources we interviewed agree that patients have not been significantly impacted, with the exception of a few instances where the delivery of essential medications might have been delayed longer. |
